Sale of Paramount Safety

Advised on the sale of Paramount Safety Products to Protective Industrial Products (US-based). Paramount was Australia’s largest independent supplier of PPE.

Acquisition of Bisley

Advised on the acquisition of Bisley Workwear, one of Australia’s leading workwear suppliers.

Sale of Redimed

Advised on the 50% sale of REDiMED to Coogee Capital. The strategic partnership assisted REDiMED in its national expansion.

Sale of ATI solutions

Advised on the sale of ATI Solutions, a leading WA-based technology consultant. Accenture acquired ATI as part of the “Industry X” program.

Sale of Force Technologies

Advised on the sale of Force Technologies, a leading supplier of phone accessories, to Stealth Global.

Acquistion of eReports

Advised REDiMED on acquiring eReports’ assets from liquidation, enabling expansion into VIC and enhancing its medico-legal capabilities for strategic growth.

Sale of Auscivil

Advised Workpac on carving out and selling Auscivil Group, assisting Workpac with returning to its core labour hire activities.

Co-investment in Penten

Page Advisory advised on co-investment in Penten. Penten is a leading provider of cybersecurity services to the defence sector.

Large platform transactions

Advised the Bird Family on the sale of Paramount Safety Products to Protective Industrial Products (“PIP”). This was an important transaction for PIP and its backer, Odyssey Investment Partners, as it gave PIP a platform for growth in the Australasian region. PIP subsequently built on this platform, acquiring Bisley Workwear and Oliver Boots.
Advised PIP on the acquisition of Bisley Workwear. This transaction was a logical “follow on” for PIP after its acquisition of Paramount Safety Products. This transaction created a clear #1 player in the independent safety channel in Australasia, laying the foundation for future consolidation.
Advised REDiMED on its strategic partnership with Coogee Capital. The logic behind this transaction was to facilitate REDiMED’s expansion from Perth to a true national healthcare provider. Following the acquisition, REDiMED quickly established a footprint in Victoria and in Queensland, organically, and by acquisition.
Advised Holman Industries on its sale to RWC. While RWC is a large organisation (>$4bn market cap), its Australian operations lacked scale. The acquisition of Holman solved this problem for RWC, providing them with entry into the attractive Bunnings Channel, and significantly increasing their reach.

Selection of carve-out and bolt-on transactions <$50M.

Advised ATI on its sale to Accenture. This was an attractive transaction for buyer and seller, as ATI was a very logical fit for Accenture’s newly formed Industry X program, which was focused on delivering services to the mining sector.
Advised Force Technologies on its sale to Stealth Global (ASX: SGI). The transaction was a significant event for both companies, representing the culmination of 30+ years of work by the founders of Force Technologies. It provided SGI with a unique pathway into both phone accessories and important clients such as JB Hi-Fi.
Advised REDiMED on its acquisition of eReports from liquidation. This was an important transaction for REDiMED, which provided greater scale and more mature technology in the medicolegal space. The transaction therefore significantly expanded REDiMED’s geographical reach, capabilities, and technological underpinnings.
Advised Workpac on its divestment of Auscivil. This transaction allowed Workpac to consolidate its operations around its core labour hire operations, given that its civil operations lacked the scale and management capabilities to effectively operate as a standalone entity.
